Launching a new sauce, pepper, or spicy product? This directory answers one question: who should you send it to? Reviewers are scored by viewers on whether their review videos would work as a commercial for your product: an honest verdict, an accurate description of smell, taste, and heat, and the product shown clearly and introduced promptly.
Reviews only. Challenge videos, extract chugs, and other eating-for-entertainment content are a different kind of content, not product reviews, and reports on them are not accepted. Plenty of good reviewers make both; only their review videos count here.

How scores work
Every score is simple arithmetic you can check yourself. Every report and the video it rates are on the reviewer’s page.
1. Each report earns points
- 50: an honest verdict, a clear opinion backed by what they showed, not generic hype
- 30: an accurate description of the smell, taste, and heat
- 20: the product front and center, clearly shown and introduced promptly
A review that does all three earns 100. Honesty carries the most weight because a maker can’t use a review they can’t trust, and neither can the audience.
2. Every reviewer starts at 60
A reviewer with no reports starts at 60, counted as if they already had three reports of 60. That keeps a single glowing or angry report from deciding where anyone stands. As real reports come in, the starting 60 matters less and less.
3. The formula
Score = (60 × 3 + total report points) ÷ (3 + number of reports)
- No reports: (180 + 0) ÷ 3 = 60
- One full-marks review: (180 + 100) ÷ 4 = 70
- One hype-only review (product shown, nothing else): (180 + 20) ÷ 4 = 50
- Ten full-marks reviews: (180 + 1,000) ÷ 13 = 91
Scores are rounded to the nearest whole number.
4. Colors
- Green, 70 and up: makers should send them product
- Grey, 50 to 69: not enough reports yet, or mixed
- Red, below 50: weak reviews for a maker’s purposes
Only a viewer’s most recent report on a reviewer counts. Reports are checked for spam and abuse before they appear; they are never removed for being negative. Reviewers can respond to any report, and they’re welcome to ask viewers to rate their videos. Reports must rate a real product review video, and offering products or perks in exchange for reports isn’t allowed. Every reviewer, including the ones we listed ourselves, started at the same 60. This is not a popularity contest or a ranking of entertainers; it measures one thing: how useful a reviewer’s videos are to the people who make the products.
Reports reflect the individual opinions of the viewers who submit them, not findings by Heat & Harvest.
