Wendy’s “Scorchin’ Hot” Sauce

I had no intention of our first post being on Wendy’s but here I am. Wendy’s is known for having many ghost pepper options that were hot enough to qualify buying it but it seems that is all gone now. I ordered the hottest thing on the menu, the spicy chicken sandwich meal with unsweet tea and their new “Scorchin’ Hot” sauce. The ingredient list is longer than this article. The heat is detectable and it doesn’t taste bad. Too be honest the depth of the heat profile is artisanal; they definitely used fermented pepper mash. The being said it’s nothing special and I don’t recommend making a special trip to try it. Sidenote: their awesome fries are terrible today.
